Arthur seat point -. This is the only place that shows the geographical distinction between the Konkan and the Deccan territories of Mahabaleshwar. The point was named after Sir Arthur Mallet, who sat here and gazed at the Savitri River, where he lost his wife and children in a tragic ferry mishap. This is also famous trek destination where trek starts from Dhawale base village and its something 10/12 km trek.
